Description

A wine made specifically to the powerful 22 vintage; the goal for the Poulsard to add aromatics to the phenolic pinot of the vintage. The final blend is 50 50 Pinot Noir and Poulsad from parcels Les Bodines and Verleule, both located in Arbois.

Each parcel has a mix of yound and old vines, with the oldest being 60 years-old in the parcel of Verleule. Les Bodines is limestone-centric and Verleule is dominated by iridescent marnes. Naturally farmed; no herbicides or pesticides, works in tandem with nature. All hand-harvested. Destemmed by hand, while berry maceration. Fermented in tank with indigenous yeasts. Aged 8 months in tank with no added SO2.
